this week with his presentation Lessons Learned From Abraham Lincoln and
Other Great Leaders. He received the highest ratings our

play is better than any evening at the theatre, and the following two-hour
discussion on leadership is filled with wisdom, energy and inspiration.”

"Abraham Lincoln, CEO
This unique program begins with an excerpt from the acclaimed one-man
play “Lincoln Live” that's been performed at
historic Ford’s Theatre, the Georgia Dome, and the Ice Palace plus
numerous conventions, annual meetings, and conferences. Author and
actor Gene Griessman, Ph.D. appears in costume as Lincoln.
There's a break following the portrayal. (The
second part of the program can take place later in the day, or even the
next day.) During
the second part of the program, Dr. Griessman leads a discussion of the
common denominators of great leaders and high achievers. Griessman draws
on years of studying Lincoln, plus his exclusive one-on-one interviews
with s ome of the best-known leaders of our time, including Ronald
Reagan, Ted Turner, Ray Charles, Mary Kay, Sandra Day O’Connor, Aaron
Copland, Tennessee Williams, Helen Gurley Brown, Frank Borman, Paul
“Bear” Bryant, Hank Aaron, and scores of other leaders from the worlds
of business, science, sports, and politics. Griessman—who was on-camera
host of “Up Close,” which aired for years on TBS, and has written
numerous articles in major publications and books on high
achievement—offers insider information about many of the personalities
you have read about or seen on television or in the movies.
You will come away from this event with a better
understanding of the values, attitudes, and habits that make successful
leaders successful.

CLIENT APPRECIATION EVENT!
THE WIT AND WISDOM OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN
This program is
perfect for a client appreciation event such as a luncheon, reception
with heavy hors d'oeuvres, or a sit-down dinner. It also works nicely
for association meetings. Clients often choose a fine restaurant or club
or a hotel. The presentation is billed “The Wit and Wisdom of Abraham
Lincoln.” The title indicates that there will be humor as well as
practical information.
Attendees generally are invited to bring guests. Because this is not a
hard-sell presentation, they can anticipate a relaxed experience. For
clients who host the event, it becomes a genuine gesture of
appreciation, and because guests are invited, the event becomes a means
of establishing contact with hard-to-reach, often high-net-worth
individuals.
Some clients hire a
professional photographer to take photos of attendees with Lincoln.
Afterwards they deliver framed photos to attendees.
The presentation
itself, in full costume, is generally about 40-50 minutes in length.
Many attendees comment that after a few moments, they forget that it is a
presentation and feel that Lincoln is actually present.
Here are some comments
from clients who have hosted the Lincoln presentation:
“You are the best, the absolute best!
We received 276 RSVPs
and 320 people showed up at the country club for the banquet. That says a
lot about the drawing power of Lincoln.
People still quote you
to this day. We got so many written notes of praise. The presentation
was not only entertaining but intellectually stimulating—a piece of
history that will live forever in our minds. And then the presentation
that you did for the students at St. James academy was a huge hit. There
were tears in my eyes when you told them about Lincoln’s last day.
We have a photograph of
the event in our lobby; there’s not a day that passes but that a client
will recall something that happened that wonderful evening. It made our
25th anniversary banquet a memorable experience.”
---Bill Kissinger, CEO,
Kissinger Financial Services, Hunt Valley, MD.
“I want to thank you
again for the wonderful performance you put on for my group. When people
were telling me what a great event we had and how much they appreciated
being invited, I realized the value of good referrals. Having got your
name with such enthusiasm from Richard Weylman, I never doubted the
success of the evening.
Richard was right on
the mark. We are very grateful to have had you spend an evening with us.
Your message is timeless. The passion and humor, simply wonderful. And
coming from Abe Lincoln, it was a moment in time none of us will ever
forget.
I was especially moved
by the "life lessons". I look forward to our continued friendship. You are
a special and gifted individual.

Management Advisor, Merrill Lynch, Red Bank, NJ
